Slovakia is giving access to Europe for a Russian antivirus drug
The Slovak Academy of Sciences will certify the antiviral drug Triazavirin for its use in Europe. The unique drug has been developed by the scientists of the Urals Branch of the Russian Academy of Sciences.
Clinical trials proved that Triazavirin is effective against various flu viruses including A/H1N1. The production of the drug will be organised at OOO Zavod Medsintez in the Sverdlovsk Oblast.
The regional government informed RusBusinessNews that Slovakia and the Sverdlovsk Oblast will start working jointly on the production, diagnosis, and certification of several pharmaceuticals. Moreover, cooperation is possible in the production of isotope scanners which enable seeing hard to diagnose cancers at early stages.
