Russian industrial producers' prices go up almost 15 % this year
The prices of industrial producers in Russia went up 14.9 percent over the period from January to September this year, and inflation on the consumer market stood at 8.1 percent, Prime-Tass cited the federal state statistics service's data.
The prices of industrial producers rose 1.2 percent in September as compared to the previous month, according to the preliminary data.
In the production sector, the prices rose most of all -- 18.1 percent -- for liquefying and re-gasification of natural gas for transportation.
In the processing sector, the prices rose highly in the metallurgical industry. The prices were up 17.6 percent for ferroalloys, 14.3 percent for copper and 20.2 for non-ferrous metals.
In the chemical industry, the prices rose 7.2 percent for pharmaceutical products, 6.4 percent for other main organic chemicals and 6.3 percent for synthetic rubber, Prime-Tass reported.
